In Shadow Fight 3, there are dozens of weapons that are merely visually-different variants of weapons, aside from their rarity; therefore, most weapons in Shadow Fight 3 can be classified into classes, based on their moveset and the Special Moves that can be applied to them.

Weapons written in italic are not available for the players.

Legion weapon classes[]

One-handed Sword[]

A One-handed Sword is a straight, long, double-edged blade attached to a short grip that requires one hand. It has moderate range, moderate swing time, fast recovery and low combo. It is the Legion counterpart of the Dynasty Dadao and the Herald Katana.

Axes[]

Axes are a pair of wide blades attached to short handles. They have short range, moderate swing time, fast recovery and low combo. They share all same moves as the Hammers and Maces, but are slightly faster than the Hammers. They are the Legion counterpart of the Dynasty Cleavers.

Swords[]

Swords are a pair of one-handed swords with low range, fast swing time, slow recovery and low combo. The Swords share the same upper attack as the Common to Epic Sabers and Shuang Gou, but are moderately slower than the latter. They are the Legion counterpart of the Dynasty Sabers and Shuang Gou and the Herald Ninjato.

Spear[]

A Spear is a long, heavy shaft with a blade at the end. It has very long range, slow swing time, moderate recovery and low combo. It is the Legion counterpart of the Dynasty Guandao and the Herald Naginata.

Two-handed Sword[]

A Two-handed Sword is a very long blade attached to a long grip that requires two hands. It has moderate range, moderate swing time, moderate recovery and low combo.

Hammers[]

Hammers are a pair of large, heavy metal heads attached to short handles. They have short range, moderate swing time, fast recovery and low combo. They share all same moves as the Axes and Maces, but are slightly slower than both classes.

Giant Sword[]

A Giant Sword is a very huge, very heavy, wide, very long blade attached to a very long grip that requires two hands. It has very long range, slow swing time, slow recovery and low combo. It is also a weapon with most of its moves having Unbreakable State in the game.

Maces[]

Mace Concept Art

Maces are a pair of small, heavy metal heads attached to short handles. They have short range, moderate swing time, fast recovery and low combo. They share all same moves as the Axes and Hammers, but are slightly faster than the Hammers.

Two-handed Hammer[]

A Two-handed Hammer is a heavy, large metal head attached to a long handle. It has short range, moderate swing time, moderate recovery and low combo.

Flail & Shield[]

The Legion's newest technology, easy to use and strong, the Flail & Shield are a set of a small, light metal head attached to a cord and a short handle, and two retractable shields mounted on the wrists of the user. They have moderate range, slow swing time, moderate recovery and low combo. They are also a weapon with most of their moves having Unbreakable State, rivaled only by the Giant Sword as the heavy attack doesn't have the unbreakability.

Knife[]

A Knife is a short blade attached to a very short handle used for close-quarters combat. It has moderate speed, short range, moderate to slow recovery and low combo. It can be used to take an opponent down very quickly using a variety of slashing and stabbing attacks.

Knuckles[]

Knuckles are a pair of small blunt fist-load weapons used for hand-to-hand combat. They have very short range, moderate swing time, fast recovery and low combo. They are the Legion counterpart of the Dynast Deer Horns.

Dynasty weapon classes[]

Sabers[]

Sabers are a pair of curved, long, single-edged blades attached to short grips. They have moderate range, fast swing time, fast recovery and high combo. The Legendary and Unique Sabers have a unique upper and low attack. The Sabers share the most same moves as the Shuang Gou excepting the low attack for all rarities of the Sabers and the upper attack as mentioned above. The Common to Epic Sabers also share the same upper attack as the Swords, but are moderately faster than the Swords. They are one of the two Dynasty counterparts of the Legion Swords and the Herald Ninjato.

Staff[]

A Staff is a long blunt polearm with long range, moderate swing time, fast recovery and moderate combo.

Shuang Gou[]

Shuang Gou are a pair of sharp blades with hooks near the tips and crescent guards at the hilts. They have moderate range, fast swing time, fast recovery and high combo. The Shuang Gou share the most same moves as the Sabers excepting the low attack, where they share such move as the Claws. They also share the same upper attack as the Swords, but are moderately faster than the Swords. They are one of the two Dynasty counterparts of the Legion Swords and the Herald Ninjato.

Nunchaku[]

A Nunchaku is a set of two heavy cylindrical sticks attached to a cord. It has short range, fast swing time, moderate recovery and high combo.

Guandao[]

A Guandao is a heavy, curved, short, single-edged blade mounted atop of a long shaft. It has long range, moderate swing time, fast recovery and high combo. It is the Dynasty counterpart of the Legion Spear and the Herald Naginata.

Chain Knife[]

The Chain Knife is a short blade attached to a cord and tethered to a weight. It has very long range, moderate swing time, slow recovery and high combo.

Deer Horns[]

Deer Horns are a pair of large bladed fist-load weapons used for hand-to-hand combat. They have short range, fast swing time, fast recovery and high combo. They are the Dynasty counterpart of the Legion Knuckles.

Dadao[]

A Dadao is a curved, long, single-edged blade attached to a long grip that requires two hands. It has moderate range, fast swing time, moderate recovery and high combo. It is the Dynasty counterpart of the Legion One-handed Sword and the Herald Katana.

Composite Glaive[]

Composite Glaives', also known as the Matchblades, are a pair of daggers which can be combined into a glaive and unlinked back. They have a superlong combo moves and an extremely agile and swift fighting style, allowing the user to either dodge or closing distance with various forms of jumps and leaps. They have short range, fast swing time, moderate recovery, and high combo.

Sanjiegun[]

A Sanjiegun (also known as Trichaku or Three-section Staves) is a set of three cylindrical sticks attached to each others by two cords. Its main highlights are mobility, the ability to leave wounds but not cause the death, which is perfect for punishment, and the ability to diversify in attack ranged. It has short-to-moderate range, moderate swing time, fast recovery and high combo.

Cleavers[]

Cleavers are a pair of cleavers hence their name. They have similar movesets to the Axes, Hammers and Maces, but are much more exaggerated and has unique heavy and lower attacks. Their upper attack also delays for a moment after slicing the opponent unlike the Axes, Hammers, and Maces. The Cleavers do not carry unbreakable moves due to being a Dynasty weapon, but makes up for it with massive damage. And due to this, some additional hits has been added for most of attacks to support the combo potential of this weapon (e.g. Cleavers low hits count as 2 instead of 1). They are the Dynasty counterpart of the Legion Axes, thus shares the same hitting SFX.

War Fans[]

War Fans are a pair of weaponized fans used for combat. They have a moderate speed and range, but can be strengthened by shadow winds so that they can drastically increase the speed and range of this weapon.


Herald weapon classes[]

Katana[]

A Katana is a curved, long, single-edged blade attached to a long tsuka (grip) that requires two hands. It has moderate range, fast swing time, slow recovery and low combo. It is the Herald counterpart of the Legion One-handed Sword and the Dynasty Dadao.

Sai[]

Sai are a pair of sharp tips attached to very short handles used for stabbing. They have short range, moderate swing time, moderate recovery and moderate combo.

Naginata[]

A Naginata is a long shaft with a curved, long, single-edged blade at the end. It has long range, moderate swing time, slow recovery and moderate combo. It is the Herald counterpart of the Legion Spear and the Dynasty Guandao.

Claws[]

Claws are a pair of pronged fist-load weapons with short range, moderate swing time, slow recovery and moderate combo. The Claws share the same low attack as the Shuang Gou.

Glaive[]

A Glaive is a set of two long blades connected to each other by a grip. It has moderate range, fast swing time, slow recovery and low combo.

Iaido Katana[]

The Iaido Katana is a set of a katana with a saya (scabbard) that is used in smooth, controlled movements of drawing the katana from the saya. It has short range, fast swing time, slow recovery and moderate combo.

Kamas[]

Kamas are a pair of pronged sticks with short to moderate range, fast swing time, slow recovery and low combo.

Kusarigama[]

The Kusarigama is a kama and a weight connected to a long cord. It has very long range, fast swing time, slow recovery and moderate combo.

Whip Katars[]

Whip-Katars

Whip Katars are a pair of wrist-mounted blades that consist of many smaller, segmented parts connected with a string. They have very long range, fast swing time, slow recovery and moderate combo.

Ninjato[]

Ninjato Concept Art

Ninjato are a pair of straight, long, single-edged blades attached to long tsuka (grips). They feature a quick and evasive fighting style, with fast attacks suited for counterattacks. They have short range, moderate swing time, moderate recovery and low combo. They are the Herald counterpart of the Legion Swords and the Dynast Sabers and Shuang Gou.

Composite Sword[]

A Composite Sword is a whip sword that has quick and precise moves. Its blades can be stretched and extended like the Whip Katars. It has moderate to long range, slow recovery, fast swing time, low combo and damage. Before it's moveset was officially added, the Composite Sword had the combination of the Katana's and Dadao's (heavy) movesets.
