Trivia[]

  • Umbral Heirs are based on the dao, a type of Chinese swords, primarily used for slashing and chopping. The most common form is also known as Chinese sabers, although those with wider blades are sometimes referred to as Chinese broadswords.
    • In China, the dao is considered one of the four traditional weapons, along with the gun (stick or staff), qiang (spear), and the jian (double-edged sword).
  • Umbral Heirs are one of the 4 weapons in this game where it has a unique Shadow Ability which is not available to any other weapons, along with the World Slicer, Discipline, and Order's Claws.
  • Umbral Heirs has been in the game (since Chapter III was released) since long before the Steppe Prince set was announced. The weapon was not available to players but was exclusively available to some opponents.
  • Although players cannot use Steppe Prince set bonus in the Loyal Aurora combat rules, (with a reason that there is only one Aurora in existence, and she is very loyal to Tarlan and would never hurt him), the player can use the bonus against another Steppe Prince user, resulting both the player and enemy can summon Aurora(s) at the same time.
