Eagle's Dive is a weapon in Shadow Fight 3 introduced in Chapter II: Dynasty. It is a Legendary chain knife and belongs to the Dynasty faction. Eagle's Dive has extremely high damage, long range and high combo potential, and despite it's slow speed hindering its close range potential, it can be easily worked around with proper use of kicks and/or using its special moves, Whiplash and Knife Juggler, which are extremely fast and carry little risk of being countered if blocked. Eagle's Dive features 3 perk slots for Perks and one special slot for Special Move. It carries the Torrent Shadow Ability and is used by June, the princess of Dynasty.

Players can buy the Eagle's Dive from the shop for a determined amount of price. It can also be obtained as a random reward after winning any fight in Chapter 2 - 5, by opening a Chest (better chests have higher chances), or by purchasing the Dynasty Booster Pack.

Arrow
By performing any movements, you gain additional shadow energy and also Arrow charges that increase your shadow damage

Arrow charges reset when your shadow form ends

  • Performing a roll, step, jump, swap/long step or attacking will grant you a fixed small amount of Shadow Energy (2%), even if the user could not finish that move due to any interruptions.
  • It can be stacked with other shadow-related perks, like Rising Tide.
  • No attack (except for a certain 4 of them) will be able to activate the Arrow set ability, even if it has a roll, swap/long step, or jump, in it. The 4 attacks, however, that are an exceptions to this rule, are the jump and cartwheel kicks (which activate Arrow once per use), and the drop and flying kicks (which activate Arrow twice per use).
  • Moving, jumping, rolling swapping or attacking will also give the user Arrow Charges based on the horizontal distance travelled, which works as follows:
    • The game declares 4 variables as First, Second, Delta and Sum.
    • "First" stores the X-coodinate of the user before performing a move.
    • "Second" stores the X-coordinate of the user after performing a move.
    • When the move ends, the game calculates the distance the user travelled by subtracting the smaller number from "first" or "second" from the bigger number, and storing them as "Delta"
    • The number from "Delta" is factored by 65, and is added to the "Sum", which indicates the Arrow Charges.
      • Only the integer number will be shown to the player in the status bar.
    • Finally, the values for "First", "Second" and "Delta" are reset to 0 for the next move.
  • While in Shadow Form, the user's Shadow Form's duration can be extended using this set bonus.
  • The user's Shadow Abilities also get a damage boost depending on the amount of Arrow Charges the user has.
    • The boost is 25% of the user's current Arrow Charge sum, meaning if the user has 6 Arrow Charges, their Shadow Abilities will deal +150% damage.
    • All Arrow Charges are reset when the user exits shadow form.

Trivia[]

  • Eagle's Dive is based on the kyoketsu-shoge, a Japanese double-edged blade, with another curved blade attached near the hilt at a 45–60 degree angle. This is attached to approximately 10 to 18 feet (3–5 m) of rope, chain, or hair which then ends in a large metal ring. Likely used by ninja of the Iga province, it is thought to be a forerunner to the later more widely known the kusarigama. Ninja were often recruited from the class of rural peasantry who resided on remote farmland, and the tool's resemblance to farming equipment and high versatility in combat gave it many benefits in stealth combat.
  • If the Three Arrows' Glory is equipped with no weapon, the starting fight stance of the player in the beginning of the round will be of the Heralds despite being a Dynasty armor piece
