Gameplay of Shadow Fight

Shadow Fight is a Facebook-based fighting game developed by Nekki. It was released on February 12th, 2011. Players start out as a ninja who can only attack bare-handed. They can play against other players in online battles and can explore and try out the features/locations on the map.

Shadow Fight is available on Facebook in English, Russian, German, French, Italian, Portugese and Turkish.

On March 28 2015, the game has been closed after being announced to be unavailable temporarily. However, on April 1, Nekki has announced that the game is available once again, also stating that it has been moved to a new account.

Official Description

"Shadow Fight is a classical Beat-em-up game in the tradition of glorious arcade classics such as Mortal Kombat or Tekken. We hope that this action-rich game will offer you a lot of entertainment and fun. Like any good action game, Shadow Fight is easy to learn, but very hard to master! It’s best to just start and get an impression of the easy-to-learn controls, which on the other hand will allow more advanced players to use complex special moves. A short tutorial will introduce you to the game. In Shadow Fight, you will compete against avatars of your friends in the VZ network. The opposing avatar will be controlled by the computer – to allow a good action experience without latency over the internet. If you do want to play 'live' against one of your friends, this is also possible, however, you will have to share your computer with them. The corresponding option can be found under 'two players' in the combat menu."

Gameplay

Shadow Fight begins with the Sensei introducing to the player the controls of the game.The player will also be able to battle other players. As the player battles, they can earn XP and are able to earn coins which can be used for purchases and upgrades to enhance the player's attacks and abilities. As the player progresses in the game, more structures and features will be unlocked at the map.
