Ninja are unnamed enemies fought in Duels and Survivals from Act I to Act VI. Their successors, called Looters, are fought in Duel and Survival in Act VII.
They are used to earn little amounts of money and XP which can help when grinding to buy equipments.

Ascension Ninjas are fought in Ascension, and they wield enchanted equipment. They no longer appear in the game as Ascension is now a defunct mode.

Trivia[]
- The first version of the game did not have any ninja. Instead, players used to duel with Fighters in Survival.
- There is only one ninja that appears in 3 acts, that being the male ninja equipped with Swords.
- All ninjas are equipped with Snake Mask. The male ninjas are equipped with Leather Jacket, while the female ninjas are equipped with Snake Harness.
- No ninja equipment is enchanted, except for the Ascension ninjas.
- The Knives, Daggers and the Trident are the only standard and coin-priced weapons from the first six acts that are not used by ninjas.
- The Ninja Sword and Katars are the only gem-priced weapons that are used by ninjas. Mowers is the only gem-priced weapon that is used by the looter.
- Act I introduces 10 ninjas to the player. From the conclusion of that act onwards, 6 new ninjas get introduced with each successive act, with the exception of Act VI, which introduces 8 new ninjas.
- There are ninjas who wield dual weapons, but where only a singular one appears in their avatars. They are the ninja with Kunais, the ninja with Triangular Knives and the ninja with Heavy Nunchacku.
- None of the ninjas have a speaking role of their own.
- In older versions, the ninja equipped with Triangular Knives (that was called Watchdog) had a small speaking role.
- In Sparring (Nintendo Switch version), the looter girl with Reaver is seen wielding a Dissector of Hopes instead, and she is named Agony.
- Swords, Sai and Telescopic Staff are the only weapons which are wielded by two ninjas and looters respectively. One being male and the other female.
