Lynx, the Demon Prince, is a supporting antagonist in Shadow Fight 3 who appears during Finale: The Gates of Shadows. He is the leader of the Order of Assassins and one of the surviving Shadow Demons, alongside with Butcher and Widow. He along with Twelfth, works as the suicide agents of the Real Shadow's Descendant.
Story[]
Before the start of Finale: The Gates of Shadows, Lynx tells Twelfth not to be scared of him as he almost forgot her that she is just an uncooperative piece of shit, with the latter responding that she is not so scared. Then Lynx and Twelfth fight for opening the cell in which she at last commands him to open the cell.
Finale: The Gates of Shadows[]
A few days later, Lynx and his guards captured Mnemos at the Accelerator Core. However, Kitsune saw everything what is happening and quickly goes to inform May about this. Upon learning of this, May slayed every guard who came in her way, leaving Lynx with no choice but to fight her. After he gets defeated, Lynx calls her a fool for trading the power of demon for a life of mortal. May then tells him to inform the Master that the Accelerator is now in the control of the Resistance.
Void Speaker's Adventure: Battle of Laws[]
After Ishtar defeats Indigo, a vision of Kibo and Helga appear as the Voice of the Light and the Voice of the Shadows. Soon after, the party encounters Lynx and Butcher, where Lynx states that the laws of the Void are really confusing. Ishtar believes Indigo has betrayed them, but Indigo corrects her. Lynx interrupts their quarrel and states that they don't need to be summoned - they came here on their own. Indigo takes on Lynx while Ishtar attacks Butcher. The Demons are defeated, and Mnemos decides to erase their existence since they have already done a great deal of damage. However, Lynx is unfazed, and states that the Ancients can no longer harm them and that the Demons are no longer children scattered across the universe anymore now. He states that the Demons have been entrusted to the Master of Worlds, and that the Demons will soon return to the Shadow World. Mnemos believes they are lying, but Lynx asks him to see it with his own eyes in the Void. After Mnemos defeats the Destroyer of Epochs, Itu, the Ancient notes that this is not the one he knew. Both the Ancients and the Demons come to the conclusion that the Master is alive.
Mnemos is surprised, but Lynx states that the Master is stronger than time and fate, and that all the worlds of the Void are like an open book to him. He states that the Master will get rid of the Collector. Ishtar speaks with Lynx, who states that she must not waste any time with the Destroyer of Epochs. He explains that the Ancients fooled Shadow into opening the Gates of Shadows, and as a result, he took the Demons' world from them.
Fights[]
Lynx is fought as a mini-boss using the Heralds style of fighting. He wields Order's Claws in this fight and the players must win three rounds against him in order to be victorious.
Lynx has the ability to become invisible at the start of round and after his shadow form ends. He also has the ability to increase his Demonic Power when he enters Shadow form. At shadow form, he restores health as well as lose health over time depending on the amount of Demonic Power he has.
Power and Abilities[]
- Noble Moderation: Lynx's shadow bar recharges automatically and gets full after 10 seconds.
- Mark of the Demon: When entering shadow form, Lynx gains one stack of Demonic Power. These stacks persist between rounds. Lynx deals additional damage in Shadow Form depending on the number of stacks present with him.
- Insatiable Demon In shadow form, all of Lynx's attacks (whether it is blocked or not) recover health. However, Lynx will continuously lose health over time during shadow form if he has a Mark of the Demon stack. Both of these effects are strengthened the more Mark of the Demon stacks he has.
- Shadow World Envoy: In shadow form, Lynx's claws become longer.
- Hunter in the Shadows: Lynx can become invisible once in a while, which allows him to sneak up and perform surprise attacks on May without being noticed. Landing an attack or taking a hit removes his invisibility. Lynx will use this ability at the start of round and after he exits Shadow Form.
