Lunar Festival is the name of a thematic event in Shadow Fight 3, available to be played during the Chinese New Year. This is the sequel and remake of the original Lunar Festival event, which spans for two weeks.
First Week[]
Captain Phang informs the player that the Monkey King's temple has gone rogue, causing his monkeys to roam around the capital, and it is causing chaos amidst the Chinese New Year celebrations.
Mischievous Temple[]
Fangirl asks the player to help the Monkey King's servants, only for Phang to interrupt them and say that the monkeys are just drunk. Fangirl declined, and told Phang that someone put a madness potion in the temple wine.

Monkeys in the Palace[]
Galen welcomes the player in the Dynasty Palace's throne room and asks if they know what happened to the Monkey King's temple. He also said that the Monkey King's servants sneaked inside the palace and gathered some armors and weapons. He asks the player to get rid of them, since the Emperor has some important guest.

Second Week[]
Phang says that evil spirits began to run amok again in the capital because of the Monkey's temple. However, Fangirl denied this and said that the evil spirit in the Monkey Temple's servants was actually in trouble. And the only problem found so far is at her house. Then she tells the player to run into er house at Washers' District.
Banishing Darkness[]
The Silver Witch tells the player some family secrets. She said that she was once a careless young girl. And for every big holiday, there is always a trouble in their house which is caused by two powerful ghosts that have driven her clueless family crazy.

Even her husband, the Sacred Dragon and her ex are among them. Both the men don't know each other when they were alive, but now that they are dead, they are fighting for the Silver Witch's attention.

Easy Training[]
Galen tells that the Emperor has an important guest at the palace; a famous cloth merchant. Then he enlisted the player's help as a candidate to showcase the full capabilities of the seven Dynasty sets.
However, after winning the Easy Training fight, Fangirl stated that the woman there was a demon; there was a pair of horns on his head, and no one noticed this because of her charm. Furthermore, Fangirl warns the player not to talk to the woman and to not buy any clothes from her.
The usual job for a Guardian Dragon is to detain all sorts of criminals, and how they perform it varies.

Tarlan warned the Emperor and Galen, but the Guest quickly changed the topic: another duel.

Twelve Dynasties[]
Fangirl informs the player that the Monkey King's High Priest still has not come to his senses, and that they do not have any actors for the leading role. She then asks the player to hurry up and change clothes to continue the main story of the Lunar Festival - the legend of how Monkey King defeated the Twelve Dynasties in one day, and how the Thirteenth Lotus Dynasty began to rule the midlands.
Fangirl reminds the player about how the Lotus Prince and Monkey King made contract and defeated the enemies around them. And a contract means work, which is not the favorite pastime of the King. He then challenges the champions of the Twelve Dynasties to a duel all at once - so that he can defeat them all in one swoop and go to bed after that.

Fourth Round: The Monkey King[]
After the fights, the crowd listens to the Prince of the Monkey people. He says that the fight was dishonorable since the Lotus champion is a divine hero who easily defeats mortals. The Lotus Prince tells them that they are right, and that they always used magic against them since they are not skilled at anything. The human soul is like a lotus that only blossoms when it rises above the dark water and cold mud. In the middle of the arguments, the Monkey King summons his double from the Void, and says to them that this fight will be the most difficult, but he can also defeat himself on equal terms.

Hot Tea[]
Fangirl invites the player to the pier, since Tarlan is giving hot tea to everyone there.
Holiday Camp[]
The player will wander around instead of fighting here. Walking closer to the tea table allow the player to interact with it, and Tarlan will offer two different teas:
- Classic blend: A longtime Dynasty pride. Teethy-tooth is a traditional tea made from the ground teeth of a shadow creature.
- Trendy blend: A newly tea product that the whole capital is crazy for this tea. Fresh import from the islands. Drinking it too much may cause numbness in limbs.
After the player drinks their tea, they will receive a piala, which grants them a random buff for a fight. And the player is allowed to come back every fifteen minutes for another tea.
During Valentine's Day, a confession bot made by Master Okada will appear at the pier. This bot carries a message from those mysterious people who wrote the message.
Battle Pass[]
2 Battle Passes are available during this event. By winning the Palace Duel, Hard Training, Eight Challenges, and Twelves Dynasties fights, the player can get points to progress in the Battle Pass tiers. Both the Free and Premium tiers follow the same progression, meaning that winning a fight gives the player points for both tiers. If the player has purchased Premium tiers, they can buy tiers instantly by using gems (300 gems per tier).
Both Battle Passes offers two equipment sets (free and premium), alongside other rewards, like skin, spheres, components, gems, shadow energy, tokens, tickets, etc.
Claiming bonus card will give the player with either 10 gems + 30 shadow energy or 5 gems + 75 shadow energy.
Note that the battle pass rewards may vary from time to time.
Marathon[]
Three marathons are available during the event. The players will get a number of marathon points after winning one event stage. They can use the marathon points to redeem the prizes from the marathon menu.
The main prizes from the three marathons are new aspects for certain skin, and Monkey King set.
Trivia[]
- The twelve champions told by Fangirl in Twelve Dynasties are the animal trines from the Chinese zodiac. Each champion possess one of the 12 energies of the Void.
- The Horse and Monkey are the only champions that does not fight the player directly. Instead, they are replaced by Ironclad and a doll respectively.
- During Maze of Immortality event, Mnemos once warned players about a fabric shop in the Dynasty capital that can make everyone crazy. Certainly, it is about Widow's fabric.
- The Twelve magics told by Fangirl seem to reflect the 12 energies of the Void.
