Chest is a reward that is given after winning a duel match or by completing daily quests. A chest usually contains 4 cards which could be items, special moves, or perks with random rarity; and 1 more card which is a certain amount of currency, either coins or shadow energy.
Obtaining Chest[]
There are three types of chests: Duel Chest, Quest Chest and Void Chests. Quest Chests and Duel Chests are classified according to their rarity; chests of higher rarity contain at least one card with the same rarity as the chest. It is also possible to get cards with higher rarity than the chest itself (i.e. Epic card from Rare chest).
As its name suggests, Duel Chest will be rewarded by participating in duel matches. The players must win certain rounds of duel in order to obtain the chest. A duel chest can be obtained once every six hours. However, the players can pay an amount of gems to skip the waiting time and instantly get a new chest.
The daily quests and the reward system
Completing daily quests will reward the players with keys, which in return can be traded with Quest Chests. Daily quests are ranging from tasks that can be completed by just playing normally, to certain tasks that requires the players to put some specific efforts. Players also can replace any quest, which can be done once per day. One new quest will appear in every 4 hours. There is no limit on how long a quest can stay - a quest will disappear only if completed or replaced with a new one. Depending on the difficulty or the effort required, daily quests will reward the players with a certain amount of keys upon completion. The rewards are either 5 blue keys, 6 blue and 3 orange keys, or 8 blue and 2 yellow keys. These keys can be traded with quest chests of their respective colors; blue keys for Rare Chests, orange keys for Epic Chests, and yellow keys for Legendary Chests. One quest chest requires 30 keys. Alternatively, an amount of gems can be used to immediately open quest chest.
Void Chests is rewarded if the player has sufficient Void Keys by playing raids.
Duel Chests[]
Duel Chest will be obtained after the player has won a certain rounds of Duel matches. It is possible to obtain cards with higher rarity than the guaranteed rarity. Duel Chest are available every 6 hours.
Rare Chest[]

Epic Chest[]
- Rounds : 5
- Contains :
- 4 items. One card is a guaranteed Epic and three cards are guaranteed Rare.

- 1 bonus card.
Giant Chest[]
- Rounds : 5
- Contains :
- 8 items. One card is a guaranteed Rare. The rest are Common.
- A quantity of gold.
- 1 bonus card.
Shadow Chest[]
- Rounds : 5
- Contains :
- 100 Shadow Energy.
- 10 Epic Keys.
- A quantity of gold.
- 1 bonus card (a video must be watched, or if the player makes a purchase for which they receive the bonus card for free).
Rare Giant Chest[]
- Rounds : 6
- Contains :
- 10 items. Four cards is guaranteed Rare. The rest are Common.
- A quantity of gold.
- 1 bonus card.
Legendary Chest[]
- Rounds : 6
- Contains :
- 4 items. One card is a guaranteed Legendary and three cards are guaranteed Epic.
- A quantity of gold.
- 1 bonus card.
Golden Chest[]
- Rounds : 6
- Contains :
- 20 Rare Keys.
- 10 Epic Keys.
- 5 Legendary Keys.
- A quantity of gold.
- 1 bonus card.
Rare Archive Chest[]
- Rounds : 4
- Contains :
- 4 archive items. One card is guaranteed Rare. The rest are Common.
- A quantity of gold.
- 1 bonus card.
Epic Archive Chest[]
- Rounds : 5
- Contains :
- 4 archive items. One card is a guaranteed Epic and three cards are guaranteed Rare.
- A quantity of gold.
- 1 bonus card.
Legendary Archive Chest[]
- Rounds : 6
- Contains :
- 4 archive items. One card is a guaranteed Legendary and three cards are guaranteed Epic.
- A quantity of gold.
- 1 bonus card.
Quest Chests[]
Quest Chest are available to open if the player collected at least 30 key, which determined with every chest rarity. Alternatively, players can immediately open quest chests with some gems.
Rare Quest Chest[]
- Contains :
- 4 items. One card is a guaranteed Rare. The rest are Common.
- 1 currency: a quantity of gold.
- Random amount of Shadow Energy (Chanced to be dropped).
- 1 bonus card.
Epic Quest Chest[]
- Contains :
- 4 items. One card is guaranteed Epic and three cards are guaranteed Rare.
- 1 currency: a quantity of gold.
- Random amount of Shadow Energy (Chanced to be dropped).
- 1 bonus card.
Legendary Quest Chest[]
- Contains :
- 4 items. One card is a guaranteed Legendary and three cards are a guaranteed Epic.
- 1 currency: a quantity of gold.
- Random amount of Shadow Energy (Chanced to be dropped).
- 1 bonus card.
Keys[]
Keys can be bought from the store, obtained from daily quests, Golden Chest or marathon, which can be used to open quest chests. The keys corresponding to their respective chests are:
- Rare Key
These keys are used to obtain rare quest chest.
- Epic Key
These keys are used to obtain epic quest chest.
- Legendary Key
These keys are used to obtain legendary quest chest.
Void Chests[]
Void Chests are available to open if the player collected at least the sufficient Void Keys, which determined by each chest. Unlike Quest Chests, the player cannot open Void Chests immediately with gems.
Void Chest (I)[]
The Void Chest (I) which requires 30 Void Keys (I), contains:
- 20 Umbracite
- 17 Chrysonite
- 5 Magmium
- Perk (25% drop chance)
- Special Moves (50% drop chance)
Void Chests (II)[]
The Void Chest (II) which requires 100 Void Keys (II), contains:
- 80 Umbracite
- 80 Chrysonite
- 20 Magmium
- Perk (25% drop chance)
- Special Moves (50% drop chance)
- 3 random Elixirs/Grenades
Special Chests[]
These chests appears during a special event held in the game. However, they're currently removed from the game and never returned.
Lunar Chest[]
- Time : 8 hours (32 gems)
- Contains :
- 4 items, special moves, or perks. Two cards are a guaranteed Rare.
- 1 currency: event tokens.
The Lunar Chest is a special version of the Rare Chest, obtainable from duels during the Lunar Tournament. In addition to the usual rewards, it will also provide the player with some lunar tokens, which can be used to purchase/upgrade the Monkey King's set.
Spring Chest[]
- Time : 8 hours (32 gems)
- Contains :
- 4 items, special moves, or perks. Two cards are a guaranteed Rare.
- 1 currency: trophies (special event currency).
The Spring Chest is a special version of the Rare Chest, obtainable from duels during the Blossom Festival. In addition to the usual rewards, it will also provide the player with some trophies, which can be used to purchase/upgrade the Steel Sakura set.
Trivia[]
Agility Chest
- Before December 7th 2018, chest could be obtained by simply winning a duel match. Those chests were classified by the rarities: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. The players could keep up to 4 chests and they needed to wait for a certain amount of time to unlock them.
- Unlike other chests, opening a giant chest are instantaneous (without the cards folding animation, possibility because it contains too many cards).
- The Agility Chest once was available in the game. The chest itself contain one guaranteed card of rare, epic and legendary perks/special moves. Later, the chest was removed from the game as per v1.28 perks and special moves rework update.
- However, the chest itself isn't actually removed, as the Void Chests are the recolor of original Agility Chest.
