Kibo is a Herald hero in Shadow Fight 4: Arena. Since her fight with the Shadow Mind, Kibo's left eye glows with his mark. She fights in the Arena for a chance to gain vengeance against Shadow Mind. Her abilities rely around Shadow Energy, and outspeeding and outranging her opponent.

With Shadow Agility talent, this ability is activated when Kibo hops, which significantly increases her hop distance. With Shadow Retreat talent, Shadow Onslaught activates when she uses her ranged attack. With Shadow Supremacy talent, Kibo is invulnerable when dashing with Shadow Onslaught. With Fierce Onslaught talent, Shadow Onslaught's damage is increased. With On the Edge talent. Shadow Onslaught activates if Kibo is on low health, and disregards the shadow bar at this state.
	Perfection		Each successful attack gives Kibo a large amount of shadow energy, but she loses energy if she misses. With Master talent, Kibo gets more shadow energy for her attacks. With Shadow Accuracy talent, Kibo gains a massive amount of shadow energy with a successful ranged weapon attack. Despite the ability state that her missed attacks drain her Shadow Energy, only her missed Katana attacks do.

	x2	Kibo's basic attacks, which consist of 2 fast attacks that hit in the middle and pushes the opponent back for a considerable distance.
		Kibo's heavy attack. Deals high damage, and is a guaranteed hit on grabbed opponents.
	(Player direction) + x3	Kibo's special attack - 3 sequence attack of Rolling Waves. A good way to gain shadow energy and also useful on knocked-down opponents, though the last strike has bad recovery, which can be easily punished by kick moves.
	+	Kibo's upper attack. Guaranteed hit on fallen opponents. Also pushes opponents back.
	+	Kibo's low attack. Guaranteed hit on fallen opponents.
	+	Kibo's spinning attack. Has good range and knockback on block, making it an excellent advancing tool and anti-air move. Good and fast counter.
	(Player direction) +	Kibo's modified Heralds jump kicks. They are great when the enemy is next to you, but their range is highly lacking and it is punishable most of the time.
		Kibo's ranged attack. Incredibly fast and highly unpredictable, and made even more versatile if talents for it are chosen. With Shadow Accuracy, a successful ranged attack gives Kibo a lot more shadow energy than usual. With Shadow Retreat, Shadow Onslaught activates on a ranged attack and moves Kibo backwards.

Accuracy above all! You can't afford to miss: Kibo loses shadow energy if she doesn't hit. Try to consider the distance to the opponent before each attack. But even if you missed, don't be discouraged - Kibo accumulates shadow energy quickly!

Strengths

Being a "Glass Cannon", Kibo's damage output is extremely high. Kibo has one of the highest attack stats in game, only behind Lynx, Butcher, Hong Joo and Itu. Additionally, if she accumulates enough Shadow Energy, she can utilize her special ability, Shadow Onslaught which grants her the powers to dash forward when she is executing any attack using her katana. Thanks to Shadow Onslaught, Kibo is a great counter to turtling/camping players. Her large distance and unpunishable attacks will close distances very quickly. Kibo awards experienced players with her aggressive approach.

Kibo is also fine without having shadow energy since her base damage is high. Also, she has a special kick same as Ironclad and she has On The Edge talent which does not require shadow energy and can still do Shadow Onslaught. Kibo is Defensive character.

Counters

Kibo's fast attacks and range can punish many characters, such as:

• Monkey King: Her attacks can interrupt his swiftly attacks or knock him out of Ascension but when he performs it, her attacks cannot knock him out of Ascension.
• Ironclad: Kibo's mobility can grant her the ability to move around Ironclad easily, punishing missteps with ease.
• Marcus: Kibo's range and speed will punish Marcus with ease which can inflict a lot of damage. If it has Legion's hero or Shadow Warrior then Kibo's shadow abilities are worthless unless you have 2 shadow abilities.
• Sarge: When played correctly, Kibo can punish all of Sarge's attacks, and simply outspeed his approaches. But if one mistake done, Sarge can deal a lot of damage since he is the best punisher in the game.
• Midnight: While not recommended, Kibo's fast attacks can cancel Midnight's attempts to use her Shift.

Weaknesses

Despite her fast shadow energy gaining with landed attacks, Kibo's Shadow Bar will drop drastically if she misses and she will lose her chance of utilizing Shadow Onslaught, which is her bread and butter for her offensive capabilities. On The Edge talent can counter the weakness, but this requires Kibo to be on low health, which is highly risky due to her relatively low HP and defense stats.

Azuma is the worst possible enemy any Kibo player will face in the arena, due to his neutralization being able to stop Kibo from even utilizing Shadow Onslaught, thus making her helpless against the Feldsher. Other anti-shadow characters like Kate and Helga are not quite as good against Kibo though, due to Kibo's absurdly quick shadow gaining rendering Kate's shadow draining redundant.

Kibo also has low health and defense, which can be easily exploited by the opponent to take a large chunk of her health away should she make a mistake. Opponents with good countering abilities like Jack Bulwark and Sarge can put more damage on her than what she can put onto them with their Fractures and Will Suppression abilities respectively. Opponents that has a rather defensive playstyle with massive health and defense stats, like Ling and Ironclad, can tank her Onslaught easily and return damage back to her as well. Her shadow attacks are amazingly powerful, but both Thousand Cuts has a long windup, which means opponents can easily dodge her shadow attack, which will waste her entire shadow bar and her Shadow Onslaught along with it but if you have Mentor's Trick, it might not go waste if there is good timing.

Trivia

• Kibo is fought as the third boss of Chapter II in Shadow Fight 3, and later as a normal opponent in Chapter 7.2 and twice in June's plane.
  • Her Shadow Onslaught and Thousand Cuts abilities are the same abilities in the boss fight of Shadow Fight 3.
• Her default weapon is a recolored Scalpel, an Epic katana in Shadow Fight 3.
• Kibo was formerly Ling's student; this is shown in her attacks which are very similar to Ling's, as well as her shadow ability Mentor's Trick, which is similar to Ling's Sudden Trick.
• Kibo is one of the three heroes who gain shadow energy by attacks only. The other two are Lynx and King of the Legion.
• Kibo used to have the same basic attack just like Ling. However, the basic attack was changed to prevent her from being overpowered in close-range, and presumably to show her own style of wielding a katana compared to her master as well.
• Kibo's rare weapon "Paradigm" is a reference to her abilities: The word is synonymous to being perfect.
• Kibo is one of the initial epics released at launch: The others being Marcus and Emperor.
