High Society is the name of the thematic event in Shadow Fight 3. This event is available to be played for 7 days.

Scout informs the player that he had signed them up for the King's Tournament, the most prestigious tournament in the entire Legion. He has put his bid in the player's favor. The catch is that only the nobles can participate in the tournament.

Fight Info[]

This event features different system than other Ascension or Survival events. There are two modes available to be fought - the Furnace and the Tournament. The Furnace can be fought by paying coins. There can be up to 4 survival stages in Furnace mode each of four rounds (3 in the final stage), and in each round the player faces various enemies. The player has to survive all 4 rounds (3 in final stage) in a stage in order to score a win and advance to next stage; failing at any round is considered a loss. Every round of a stage must be played in succession to its previous. If the players lose a round of a stage, they are allowed to try the stage again for up to a total of two tries after which they will be given the determined amount of rewards. The players must start from the first stage if they wish to try again. Players have to win all 4 stages in order to complete the mode and get all the rewards. The difficulty would increase after completing the furnace once.

The Tournament can be fought by paying 1 ticket (3 tickets during the first launch). The Tournament consists of normal stages and the players must complete the Furnace once first before fighting in the tournament. The tickets can be obtained from the Marathon or bought from the shop for gems.

The Furnace[]

Phase 1[]

For a commoner like the player to have a chance at the Tournament, they have to pass the Furnace. Only the last man standing in Furnace is titled as the Chosen One and would be allowed to battle the nobles in the Tournament.

Change of Equipment: Player uses the same weapon as the opponent.

  • Note: The player cannot customize the weapons, even if they own them.

Suddenly Gizmo arrives at the furnace and spotting the player and Scout mocks them that this tournament is supposed to be only for ones with noble blood. But his sister, Greta disagrees and mentions that the fight was a treat to watch and recognizes the player from the Shadow Squad. Gizmo whines to not reopen old wounds which she shrugs off. She mentions that she would talk to the coordinator about the pair as she is tired of seeing same participants and to teach a lesson to Gizmo.

Phase 2[]

The coordinator is revealed to be the Ambassador. Greta requests him to pit the player against some real opponents as the commoners were mere fodder for him. Ambassador mentions that he was going to disqualify the player but he cannot refuse Greta's request. He informs the player that they will now face the foreign guests, though he is sure the player would be easily defeated.

Change of Equipment: Player uses the same weapon as the opponent.

  • Note: The player cannot customize the weapons, even if they own them.

The Ambassador, disappointed on the player's victory, orders them to obtain their reward from the paymaster and leave. Hearing this Scout states that he is glad about the reward's mention. They all have gathered like old friends who do not keep secrets amongst each other and everyone would like to know about the Ambassador's daily business and enemies made. Offended, the Ambassador challenges the duo for a man-to-man talk outside the public vision.

Phase 3[]

Scout accepts the challenge and confronts the Ambassador. Unfortunately he has other plans instead of fighting himself and orders his men to deal with the duo.

After the players defeats Ambassador's men, Greta arrives and enquires about the commotion as she is already tired of her brother's antics. She asks if the Ambassador had violated the codex which the scout sarcastically confirms by saying she already knew the answer to his question. She is enraged and decides to inform the authorities about this.

Phase 4[]

The Ambassador is furious that the matter escalated to this. Thus he orders the real professionals to engage Scout and the player. Scout is flattered the Ambassador is now taking this seriously that even the liquidators have been summoned. Enraged, the Ambassador mocks them as nobody and they would not get any money or apologies from him. Scout scoffs that it was never about it and he promises the player to explain everything if they survived this encounter.

Executioner Execution

Executioner telekinetically pulls player and with a clean slash to neck executes them

Executioner restores Shadow energy overtime, but it reduces if he takes a hit. When the bar is fully charged, the Executioner immobilizes the player, telekinetically pulls them towards him and forcing them on their knees, and performs an execution with a clean slashing strike on player's neck, instantly defeating them. This attack cannot be blocked or dodged, but the player can survive the hit by using set bonuses that activate after the player runs out of health, i.e. Star Chaser and Abdicator. It is currently unknown if the attack can be interrupted by any means other than defeating the executioner with perks, such as the bots from the Shadow Artisan set ability.

This ability multiplies Executioner's attack power by 12500, which makes this move guarantee to defeat the player regardless of their defensive perks, special move bonuses or set bonuses that can reduce damage.

Queen Iolanda arrives at the arena and reprimands the pair about discipline as she was informed that people were fighting outside the tournament. Scout defends saying that someone insulted his kin and was trying to get rid of him. He introduces himself as Alexander Home, the son of a former earl who was stripped of his title and wonders if she remembered the earl. Queen Iolanda clarifies that she remembers the hundred noble names by heart especially the Home family very well as the name is engraved on the throne. The reason being one of Scout's Ancestor was buried in the Fortress wall. She then names the player as the Royal Chosen One of the year as Greta had informed her of their prowess, hence allowing them to fight in the Tournament and wishes them luck.

After completing the Furnace once, Greta informs the player that from now on the fight would be much harder as the ambassador had personally paid the fighters well to fight ferociously.

The Tournament[]

Twilight Guest[]

Now in the Tournament, Scout apologizes to the player for not revealing his complete plans in the fear of the player refusing to go along them. Scout reveals that the nobles and their titles do not matter to him but his aim is to restore his family's good name. His main target is the elder - The Greatest Gryphon. He was the one who got Scout's father killed via the Ambassador. Gryphon only fights the winner of the Kings' Tournament. No legionary till date has ever defeated him but Scout has feeling that the player may stand a chance. The first Noble is the Earl Theodor. He has been tutored by the Night Warriors themselves and is a tough one. He is known famously as the Twilight Guest.

  • Name: Earl Theodor
  • Fighting Style: Legion
  • Weapon: Storm Hammer (Two-handed Hammer)
  • Armor: Dogma
  • Helm: Shiny Darkness
  • Ranged Weapon: Black Maw (Traps)
  • Rule: Twilight Guest (Your opponent takes little damage from physical attacks, but takes significantly increased damage from Shadow Attacks.)
  • Shadow Abilities:
    • Anvil SHADOW TWOHANDED HAMMER SLASH
    • Thud SHADOW THUD
    • Clutch SHADOW RANGED STRONG TRAP
    • Pivot SHADOW STRONG HELMET
  • Damage Absorption ICON PERK DAMAGE ABSORPTION (Earl Theodor takes -70% damage from melee and ranged weapon attacks)
  • Rock ICON PERK ROCK (With an extremely high probability, Earl Theodor can withstand a critical hit without falling, reducing the damage by 55%)
  • Shadow Abilities' Vulnerability (Earl Theodor takes +50% damage from Shadow Abilities)

Red Lion[]

Now a step closer to Gryphon, Scout reminisces about his Father's battle with the Gryphon. Gryphon had provoked his father and almost lost to him when he stopped the tournament and accused Scout's father of cheating. Which was false as he was way stronger and respected than Gryphon which was the main reason he resented Scout's father, afraid his title and power would pass to him one day. The Red Lion had promised to assist Scout against Gryphon outside the tournament. But Scout is wary as Red Lion is known for his insanity and is rumored to be Gryphon's illegitimate son. He says he shares his misfortune with Scout but actually is only there for power. Thus Scout requests the player to eliminate Red Lion from the Tournament.

  • Name: Red Lion
  • Fighting Style: Legion
  • Weapon: Sun Splinter (Spear)
  • Armor: Lion's Pride
  • Helm: Lion's Gaze
  • Ranged Weapon: Gilded Hatchets (Throwing Axes)
  • Rule: Red Lion (Your opponent's throwing axes hits and the Tide shadow ability decrease your defense by 50% for 3 seconds with a successful hit. This effect applies regardless of if the attack is absorbed by Agility or the Champion of the Pit set ability.)
  • Shadow Abilities:
    • Pricker SHADOW SPEAR SLASH
    • Thud SHADOW THUD
    • Tide SHADOW RANGED STRONG AXE
    • Uppercut SHADOW UPPERCUT

With that accusation as basis, Gryphon stripped the title of Earl from Scout's father which he did not care about. Gryphon wanted to rip him apart but he could not directly as an Elder. Thus he paid a petty official to do his dirty deed whom as a reward he later made an Ambassador. It was a cake walk for the ambassador due to his spoken skills and having far reaching contacts.

The Abdicatress[]

Abdicators mostly spend their entire lives in the Tower of Solitude, occasionally coming out of it. Marie though only leaves her cell to participate in the Tournament as it is the only way she can meet her beloved once a year.

When Marie's health is depleted, she becomes invincible for 10 seconds and deals twice the damage. Nothing can alter the set bonus once it's activated.

Immortal Lord[]

Scout carries on explaining that his father was a victim of their plot. Gryphon always wore his parade armor for the Tournament, shining like a diamond but parade armor is weaker with a different fighting style. Gryphon asked the judges for a rematch with an equal armor. Scout was the squire for his father. Unfortunately in his brief absence, Ambassador's men poisoned his father's shirt. Thus Scout always despised people who meddle with death. Lord Vincent is one of them, but anyone who understands death would never join Vincent's cult. The shirt still haunts Scout's dreams. Due to the unique poison, his father fell ill leading to the fight being called off and succumbed to it six months later due to weakening of his heart. Scout's sole wish is to restore his father's title of Earl.

  • Name: Lord Vincent
  • Fighting Style: Legion
  • Weapon: Call of the Cursed (One-Handed Sword, recolored)
  • Armor: Crimson Thirst (Recolored)

If the player has less health than Lord Vincent, his attacks drain health from them equal to 50% of the damage dealt. If Lord Vincent has equal or more health than the player, his attack damage is increased by 25%.

The Weisswalds[]

Gizmo gloats that the Ambassador through a loophole had managed to let both Weisswald siblings fight the player one after the other. Gizmo had long waited this moment for his revenge. Scout mocks him by reminding him that the player already had already taught Gizmo a lesson once which he would gladly repeat. Greta apologizes for the interruption as she is not interested in this but it was too late to negotiate with the judges. She wishes for the strongest to succeed.

The Greatest Gryphon[]

On their victory, Greta congratulates the pair which the Scout ignores telling her to inform the Ambassador the same. Scout reminds the player that the final victory is very close. He feels lucky that he is not the one fighting as he is way too excited. Scout laments that he has neither been a great friend nor a good person. But the honor of all Homes now rests on the player's shoulders. They were all good and honest people, himself being the only wandering black sheep. His father would smile down upon them from the heavens, being a jolly person who loved to laugh like a child. Scout then tells the player to prepare for the final battle before he starts crying which he would be so ashamed of.

  • Weapon: Ancestors' Wrath (Giant Sword, The Greatest Gryphon Version, Glory)
  • Armor: Valor's Might (The Greatest Gryphon Version, Glory)
  • Helm: Valor's Headpiece (The Greatest Gryphon Version, Glory)

  • The Greatest Gryphon
    ICON RULE GRYPHON
Gryphon Blockbreaker

Gryphon can deal critical damage during blockbreaker phase

After Gryphon's Living Legend ability is deactivated, his next attack within 3 seconds will bypass the player's block and deal a critical hit which deals 200% damage, signaled by his status bar and his giant sword glowing in hot gold energy. Due to its nature as a critical hit attack, the damage can be mitigated by Rock.

Gryphon's pilum does not interact with the ability in any way. It will not trigger the critical hit nor will it use up the ability.
