Trivia

• Like many other enemies, almost all the male fighters in this game are visual in-battle copies of Shadow, shrouded in various helms and armors, irrespective of their avatar. The female fighters are mostly copies of Kenji with in-built female voices, with the exception of Hellcat, who is revealed as a copy of Shadow in one of the challenges in Act II.
• Pandemia is the only fighter to use three weapons.
• Fighters are only fought in Tournament and Challenge fights.
  • There are some exceptions in Act 7. The Hideout fighters can be fought at Chapter 2 Duel, while the Incubator fighters are also fought in Chapter 3 Survival.
• Wraith, Pandemia, Smother, and Whiplash are the only fighters that speak.
• Some scavengers in Spaceship Challenge speak too.
• No fighter's equipment is enchanted.
• Thorn, Bonebreaker, Mephisto and Emerald are the only fighters to wield unusable weapons (Triangular Daggers, Crusher, and Sawblade respectively).
• Invisible fights barehanded and does not use ranged weapons or magic during his battles.
• Even though Rogue is wielding wooden batons in his avatar, he is actually equipped with Steel Batons. There are no wooden batons in this game.
• In Fury's avatar, she wields the Shuang Gou instead of the Ceremonial Shuang Gou.
• Fiend, Scourge and Oldman are the only fighters who appear in three acts.
• No more than three female fighters are introduced in one act.
• Bonebreaker is the only enemy who appears during Interlude and cannot be countered in Eclipse mode.
• Harpy's and one of the Scavengers' eyes are the only eyes out of all the fighters that have visible pupils.
• Oldman is the oldest fighter in the first 6 acts. The other long-aged fighters are Savage and Cutthroat. Since all Act VII fighters are from other worlds and dimensions, it is difficult to state the age standards of their species.
• Jester, Thorn, Exile and Soothsayer only show one weapon in their avatar, even though they use two during battle.
• Madman and Iron are the only fighters that don't show any of their weapons of choice in their avatars. All the other fighters that use different weapons show at least one of them, which is likely the ones they're most experienced with.
• Titan’s soldiers are the only fighters that appear in Survival.
• Canonically, all Hideout fighters are dead, having been killed by May/Justice.
• Seer is the only fighter in the old version whose weapons and avatar is not changed.
