The Feldshers are a health care unit in the Heralds that provides emergency medical treatment to people who get injured in shadow energy accidents to prevent them from getting contaminated. They wear an advanced set of uniform and wield a Naginata called Shadow Piercer for self-defense.

The Feldsher chief, Azuma is the main character during Market Madness event.

Story[]

Chapter II: Dynasty[]

A Feldsher appears after a Shadow rig explosion in a village near the Dynasty capital to take care of the injured and he forbids everyone from getting close to the area. Since the trio is in an urgent situation, they have no choice but to fight the Feldsher, since they do not have time to explain.

Market Madness[]

Azuma the Feldsher and his new squad of trainees are sent to neutralize a shadowline accident in a Dynasty bazaar. However, the raw shadow energy has caused hallucinations, turning people into lunatics. Azuma asks the player's help to cover him and his squad from the chaos. However, while trying to rescue the wounded, Azuma and his squad get affected by the raw energy. They become lunatics themselves and attack the player, mistaking them as a monster. The player ends up rescuing Azuma and his squad. After he regained his consciousness, Azuma continues to take care of the accident until no traces are left. Later, he thanks the player and commends them on their skill, inviting them to join the Feldshers.

Transformation: Itu's Plane[]

A pair of Feldsher bots were tailing Kitsune-1, Bolo and Proximus/Proxima since the last two blocks. With their covers blown, they attempted to subdue them but Proximus/Proxima singlehandedly suppressed them with ease. After their defeat, they swore to dispose of them as soon as they get their chance before cursing them.

Finale: The Gates of Shadows[]

Kitsune-1 took Xiang Tzu, Ironclad and Feldsher Azuma (possibly off-scene) as the new members of the Resistance. A few days later, He, alongside Xiang Tzu, and Ironclad defeated the shadow stormtroopers to prevent them from taking the Accelerator back after May captured it and freed Mnemos. However, in Part 3: A Miracle Beyond Time And Space, Azuma was severely wounded (possibly from fighting the Descendant's forces) and was dragged to the infirmary by Kibo.

Fights with Feldshers[]

A Feldsher is fought as an enemy in Chapter II. Players must win two rounds in order to win. Aside from the standard equipment of Feldsher, this Feldsher also uses Ice Fangs, a Legendary Kunai as his ranged weapon.

In the Market Madness event, a Feldsher named Azuma is fought as the boss of the event, encountered in Stage 3 and 6. There can be up to five rounds, and the players must score three victories to win. During Stage 6, Azuma will utilize unlimited shadow form. Unlike his fellow Feldsher from Chapter II, Azuma uses Endless Pain, an Epic Needles as his ranged weapons.

A pair of Feldsher bot were fought in the Itu's Plane. The beta bot uses Four-Sided Blade as his weapon and Shadowdiver's Muzzle helm, while the alpha bot uses Razor Edge as his weapon.

In Finale: The Gates of Shadows, you stand as a Feldsher named Azuma to defeat a Shadow Stormtrooper. Azuma wields the Shadow Piercer as his weapon and Endless Pain as his ranged weapon.

Trivia[]

  • "Feldsher" means Paramedic in Russian.
  • Sometime after the player entered the time portal with Shadow Mind, Shadow takes over the Legion and destroys both the Dynasty capital and the Heralds Dome. The Feldsher units are implied to be gone, as the whole Dome has been destroyed and Heralds are no more.
  • In the closed Beta test, the Feldsher was equipped with different gear instead of the current uniform. They were equipped with Fate Slicer, Ebony Armor, and Kendogu Mask.
  • Feldshers also have a divison for war purposes. This unit is known as War Feldshers, met in Chapter IV. The war feldshers use Dark Sky and Steel Dragonflies as their weapon and ranged weapon, respectively.
