Broken Wings is the name of a main quest and a boss fight of Marcus's Plane of Shadow Fight 3, acting as the conclusion to the Silence of the Crypt path of part 2. This fight takes place at the Fish Market.

Story[]

They arrived at the Fish Market when they see Tarlan, who was disappointed after Deng Rao had failed to kill General, but it doesn't matter to him. What matters is that once they are infected, the time is very short for them. Ironclad tries to correct him that he had infected the wrong person as he was informed by Sven to protect them. Ling will not give his support to him as he is leading them to damnation by making a deal with Master of Shadows. Helga then asks where the Bridge-Between is, but Tarlan tells them that they can't defeat the Master as he lost his homeland and he intends to make their world his own. He then proceeds to fulfill the wish of the Master, but General stops him.

Loyal Aurora - At the start of the fight, Aurora will circle several times in the sky before hovering for 2 seconds to prepare an attack. There are two types of attacks:
  • Aurora attacks by launching itself horizontally across the battlefield, similar to Yukka's cat.
  • Aurora also launches itself toward the player. But this time, it will continuously peck the player while stealing their shadow energy, making them stun for 3 seconds and vulnerable to attacks. Aurora will use this attack after Tarlan loses one round.

The player can dodge this by jumping or ducking, depending on which height Aurora flies through. Player can also dodge it earlier by passing the opposite direction of Aurora while it is hovering, although the time is very short.

Trivia[]

  • If the player utilizes Steppe Prince set ability, Aurora will turn against them in this fight due to it being loyal to Tarlan, effectively making the ability completely useless. The ability button will not show up, and attempting to use Soul of the Steppe while being in shadow form will cause the player character to use Cage instead.
    • Tarlan's dialogue, Aurora will never hurt me., partially hints this to the player.
